ABOUT PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA No. 2, DELHI CANTT

We welcome you to the PM SHRI K.V. NO 2, Delhi Cantt website, excellently stewarded by our worthy Principal Shri Vinod Kumar Mathpal K.V. Delhi Cantt No.2 has evolved into a mega entity.
Indeed, this PM SHRI KV has been actively engaged in the earnest pursuit of educating the children and nurturing them into grown-up proud, and confident citizens of the country. It is an earnest endeavor of this Vidyalaya to develop the students’ holistic personality and impart in them a feeling of responsibility towards their lives. We aim to develop those qualities in our students which would make them well behaved, cultured, confident, honest and co-operative children.
Active involvement of parents and guardians is expected for the all-round development of the students and the Vidyalaya. We strongly believe that staff members of PM SHRI K. V. No. 2, DELHI CANTT, and parents can together develop the spirit of national integration and create a sense of Indianness among the students who are the nation’s builders and pillars.
This KV has earned great regard over the years. It came into being in 1981 and it moved to its present location in July 1990. It was designated as a PM SHRI KENDRIYA VIDYALAYA. This Vidyalaya runs in two shifts and the second shift started in 2004-2005. K.Vs are pace-setting schools following the guidelines of C.B.S.E. and N.C.E.R.T.
